About: In the Summer of 2015 I had my first experience working in an official capacity to create games for an organization. I was contracted along with two other students from my school to create a game that would function as a companion to the Manchester SEE Science Center’s moon walk exhibit. The game we would create would need to inform players in some way about differences in gravity on various planets. I helped to design, program, and score the game. The final product was a simple one button game where the player would pilot a ship and dodge obstacles on various planets in the solar system. Each planet has different gravity, which would cause the ship to fall faster or slower and force the player to adapt to these different conditions while controlling the ship. The game was competed within three months, and was showcased at the museum.
