About: Radiate was the result of a 48 hour competitive game jam at SNHU. I entered the competition with three artists and myself as the programmer. The theme selected for the jam was “light”, and as such we bounced around various ideas until we settled on making a 2D top down puzzle/adventure involving the use of colored lights to traverse hazards and obstacles. Working nearly non-stop for the next 38 or so hours (not including time set aside for sleeping) we ended up with a game that spanned over 20 levels, using over 150 unique art assets, 5 original tracks of music, end game stat tracking, and a really nifty title screen.
